Trying to squeeze in a quick post on this poor, neglected trip report this afternoon. Life is full of all sorts of fun that keeps me from finding time to hang out on my favorite website.
It is always nice to think back on this lovely view though....
We explored some in Discoveryland....
I loved the differences in this park from the other Disney parks...
We caught the Disneyland Railroad at Discoveryland Station....
Great costumes on the railroad cast members!
Views and stations along the way..
The Fantasyland Station...
A view of Alice's Labyrinth from the train...
And to the Main Street Station...
A peek at Mom as we got off the train...
And a view of Town Square from the second floor of the train station...
The Euro Disney Railroad sign for the scrapbook....
The Disneyland Hotel is over and around the entrance to Disneyland Paris similar to how the hotels in California are immediately along side the parks. I love that!
We went back to our hotel at this point and really liked our room. The hotel room in the city of Paris was tiny. Sort of like a room you would expect if staying in NYC. This room was spacious and more what we are use to. We do have very fond memories of the tiny room in Paris though.
There was a shopping mall across from the hotel.
There was an Asian food restaurant around the corner from the hotel that we enjoyed that evening.
The next morning we were up bright and early. Mom had an early flight home and I was looking forward to a second park day....
The hotel offered a nice breakfast. On our trip to Brugge, Belgium a couple of days earlier we found that we liked thebuttered french baguettes with cold cuts and tiny dill pickles. They had all the ingredients so we put them together.
Mom in the lobby....
And then saying goodbye at the train station. The station is right outside of Disney and it is a quick and easy ride to the airport from there. I did it the next day.
More from the parks in the next entry....
