Our dinner plans were at Strong Water Tavern in Sapphire Falls Hotel at 7pm

I'll have to put that place on the list for my next Uni trip!

There is a big convention area between the two hotels and you can walk all inside from Royal Pacific to Sapphire.

Good to know! Especially for the heat!

Step into a nautical retreat that marries old-world elegance and contemporary fare. A wall of rums (including rare and vintage), your own rum specialist, and tapas-style dining options make this an exceptionally cool and stylish watering hole in the heart of an island jewel.

That sounds very interesting, though I would probably choose something different than either of you did. I'm not a beer fan, not do I like spicy.

This food was amazing. I loved the ham in the puff pastry the best. This was delicious. It is really hard to explain but wow Chef’s kiss. The shrimp was also very good and the b garlic butter sauce was perfect for dipping the bread.

Both of those did sound good!

Andi was up and ready to go, so lounging around and needing the 1200 check out time was not happening!

We decided to check out around 9:30am and head back into Universal Studios.

Nice that you were both up and awake. Nothing worse than being out of sync with your travel partner.

We decided on ET as our first ride. It is such a fun ride. We rode twice since the wait was minimal.

I really need to get back to Uni! I need to redo so many of these rides!

I don’t even remember my score, it was below average and Will Smith was not impressed and erased my memory at the end!

I definitely need to go back!

This ended up being our last ride of the trip. If you are new to Universal don’t end your trip with this lame ride!

We cruised through security with our TSA precheck. Best money I have ever spent!

Totally! I forgot to add mine on my American Airlines flight the other day. (Normally I fly SW and it's in there for my SW flights). I went to the counter and had them add it, and it saved soooooo much time!

We were actually home by 11pm! Nice compared to the 1am time we usually get home

I would be <b><i>DONE</b></i> for the next two days if I got home that late from a trip!

Royal Pacific is a great resort, however, Portofino Bay is my favorite of the two.

I've only stayed at the RP. Want to try Portofino next time!

We head down to my sister’s on 4/27 and fly out early on 4/28 to Orlando.

Nice! I've lost track of what number day it is, but I think that trip is nearly here!

We started doing sister trips with my sister and DH's sister. It is a lot of fun. And the Beach Club is a great place to stay.
Are you planning on any time at SAB? We like to go back to the resort pool to cool off during hot and humid Florida summers.

Monday is AK in the am, Epcot in the evening with Via Napoli before the extra hours for deluxe guests

Hope you had a great time yesterday! How was the pizza at Via Napoli?

Tuesday is MK in the am, Tony’s lunch to watch FoF parade, DS in the evening.

Mmmmm, parmesan fondue and that delicious bread!

Thursday is Epcot for F&G, early lunch bites at the booths, DHS in the evening for Sci Fi Diner’s Fantasmic dinner. Fantasmic show and Oga’s Cantina at 10pm, park close time!

Oga's at park closing sounds fun!

Friday is AK with Savor the Savannah tour at 3:15pm, depending on our energy level by evening we may go to Poly, have a drink and watch HEA on the beach there.

Yay for Savour the Savannah! I hope your Poly plans work out.

My sister Donna and I leave tomorrow to drive to my sister Helen’s house in the St. Paul area.

Our flight leaves at 7:50am Sunday.

Your food selections from Mardi Gras sounded amazing. Honestly, they looked fresher and sounded more appealing than a lot of the festival foods at Epcot. I really want to make it to Universal during that season and try it for myself.

I am very late to this TR, but I enjoyed reading it as always! Mother daughter trips never get old! It it so nice to slow down a bit and not try and do everything. You both sure had some good food this trip! Too bad about all the rides not cooperating, I don't mind when it's Genie+ rides as I get multi experience passes but a total bummer when it's your paid rides! I haven't been to Universal in a while, I miss it! Will probably not make it there again until Epic Universe opens which I'm so excited for. Have a fantastic time on your trip!!!!

Hi Hanna! Glad you found my report and read through! We do love the food and drinks now that Andi is older! It is a huge part of the trips! The ride break downs at Disney were crazy those couple days! I haven’t really noticed before because we are always in each park multiple times!
Our most recent trip was fun, hot, and a totally different way to tour for me!

How fun! My sisters had a wonderful time and were very thankful for all my pre planning and park knowledge!
Funny thing is we had planned several mornings at SAB and actually only walked around the pool area a couple times and never did swim, lol

Hi everyone

I am back and trying to catch up at home and get organized. I unfortunately got a little bug on our last day and have been wiped out! It wasn’t Covid but a Disney virus ugh! Now Donna has it! It was like a spring cold but had some stomach discomfort as well, yuck I was patting myself for not getting sick after all my trips recently and of course I did!
I feel so much better today but this past week was yuck! I am so far behind with laundry, chores, and work stuff! Oh well!
I need to catch up on reports and get organized to tell you all about our interesting trip!

Happy Mother’s Day to everyone who celebrates!

We are having a quiet day, with just phone calls from the kids since I had been sick. We are all getting together on Memorial Day weekend to celebrate.
Joe and I are having his homemade spaghetti sauce and meatballs over spinach and cheese tortellini for dinner with chocolate cake for dessert!
I will have my new TR up very soon with a link added to this report!
